Our client, a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK, is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team in the Theatre department. This full-time role offers a salary of up to £47,300 as well as amazing benefits including access to Private Healthcare for you and your family.

    As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
    • Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
    • Supporting, coordinating and effectively assisting in the management and organisation of care within the operating department.
    • Providing quality planned care for patients by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care.
    • Steering the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time.
    • Ensuring that patient safety checks are carried out under the policy.
    • Contributing to quality improvement and promoting best evidence-based practice.

    The ideal person for the Senior Theatre Practitioner role should have:
    • NMC or HCPC registration.
    • A post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification.
    • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course.
    • An approved or recognised anaesthetic course.
    • ILS and Orthopaedic skills.
    • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment.
    • Experience managing and leading a clinical team.
