This company has 85,000 employees all over Europe and is going through a strategic digital transformation The company is heavily driven by Data and Analytics and is looking for a Marketplace Business Analytics Manager with visualisation and insights beinga key part of the company's team's future.

**THE ROLE

**Key responsibilities include:

  • Data & analytics capability build_
  • Build an analytics framework, which produces relevant research and benchmarks around markets, competitors, consumers, and merchants
  • Define marketplacewide metrics and relevant data sources
  • Closely collaborate with the Group Data Team to support business leaders in understanding how to use the large amount of data that marketplace will produce (e.g., Having >2 million SKUs)
  • Develop relevant data & analytics tools to support easier, automated insights generation
  • Develop Analytics best practices (e.g., models, quality standards)
  • Insights generation & infusion in strategic priorities & direction _
  • Constantly analyse market trends, benchmarks, internal & external data to identify new business opportunities and risks and proactively bring solutions and business recommendations to the responsible banner and group teams
  • Leverage data science capabilities (e.g. on pricing, assortment, quality) to identify opportunities in range, categories & sellers for each banner
  • Identify top sellers by analysing different competitor marketplaces; feed insights in CRM tool and banner commercial teams
  • Run a A/B testing to determine best addon solutions to marketplaces which can improve consumers and merchants experience
  • Collaborate with the Marketplace leaders to enhance the business monetization and revenue management
  • Collaborate with marketplace and digital leaders to support the financial plan creation and forecasting regarding third party sellers, sales SKUs
  • Provide support and advice to the Senior Leadership Team in the delivery of the organisation's marketplace strategy and objectives
  • Reporting_
  • Define and produce all the marketplace reporting necessary for group, local and banner leaders to manage the marketplace business
  • Define and produce all the marketplace reporting necessary to interpret commercial, sales, merchant and management information relevant to growing the marketplace business
  • Maximize the reporting and analytical capabilities that our B2B CRM will offer through data extraction and report creation
  • Define, design and produce seller business reports

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Experience_
  • Extensive experience across a range of data, analytical and BI tools including Excel, Azure, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Power BI, SQL
  • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience in Salesforce or similar B2B CRMs is a plus
  • Experience in Marketing automation, marketing performance, revenue management and pricing management is a plus
  • Experience working in Retail, Marketplace, Travel, or Gaming industries is a plus
  • Skillset_
  • Good understanding of key metrics and KPIs frequently used in Ecommerce and marketplace industries
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, including supporting and teaching other team members.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Skilled with all Microsoft Office software, virtual learning tools (e.g., Adobe Connect, Tableau) and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Knowledge of technology standards, reporting, data analysis, testing and problem management methodologies
  • Ability to analyze, understand and document analytical issues
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to think critically and conceptually
  • Language_
  • Fluent in English and ideally at least another of our used languages within our group (useful to set relationships) such as French, Spanish or Polish
