The role
The opportunity is here to develop skills and experience to progress within a busy environment.
To be successful the role holder will be eager to learn the basics of supplier management and procurement, supporting the team to carry out vital engagement and management activities.
The work will be varied but will include:
- Supplier management support (e.g. some report production)
- Administration of the supplier management tool
- Data analysis,
- Market research/testing,
- Supporting team senior team members to carry out contract reviews/negotiations

About you
- Desire to learn new skills and develop
- Comfortable with reviewing and interpreting data (spend information, contracts)
- Confident to engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers, developing strong relationships
- Unafraid to ask questions
- Some basic commercial awareness would be advantageous
- Demonstrate a 'can do' approach to problem solving
- Natural curiosity to challenge existing processes and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure to achieve deadlines
- Competence in standard MS Office suite
