Express Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a client that are a leading manufacturer in their niche field.

Our client is looking for a Technical Author to join their growing team and continue to produce and maintain technical manuals for the client'scurrent products.

In return, you can expect to receive a salary of up to c£35,000 per annum alongside other employee benefits including flexible working, remote working each Friday, a pension scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and the ability to purchase 5 additionaldays each year, employee discounts, an employee assistance programme, and organised social events.

Roles & Responsibilities

Produce and maintain technical manuals and sales data sheets for current products
Produce and maintain help files for CMM software
Act as a first point of contact for company documentation
Language localisation of documents
Provide service documentation for customer service

Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a Technical Author/Writer essential
Working knowledge of tools such as MadCap, Catalyst, Flare, and Microsoft Office packages including SharePoint
Experience maintaining a documentation system desirable
An understanding of legislation on product documentation
A positive and cando attitude with great organisation and time management skills
