About the Opportunity
- The CTO must monitor, evaluate, select, and suggest to the board and CEO technologies that can be applied to the company's products. S/he must ensure that technologies are used efficiently, profitably, and safely.
- Make all executive decisions related to the company's technology interests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that technology resources meet the short
- Monitor new technologies and assess their potential as applied to the company's products or services.
- Oversee research projects to ensure that they bring added value to the company.
- Building and leading a high performing technical team, ensure that the team is structured well to deliver against the product roadmap
- Technically assess the potential for possible company collaborations, acquisitions or mergers.
- Promote and benchmark their company's level of technology by attending conferences and trade shows and taking part in professional associations or confederations or groups, etc.
- Outline research and development goals.
- Deep understanding of POS technology and technology trends, combined with insight into how others are leveraging these technologies to innovate.
- Create deadlines for the development and implementation of all technology services.
- Act as a mentor to team members.
- Maintain a consumercentric vision and help deliver IT projects to market.
- Manage technology budgets and deadlines.
- Keep up to date with technology trends and developments.
- Ensure that all technology practices comply with regulatory standards.
- Master's degree in computer science or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 8 years working in a technological role.
- 5 years of managerial experience.
- Proven and extensive experience in the electronic payments industry.
- Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
- Exceptional team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to delegate efficiently.
- Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
Salary:
€150,000 Plus Bonus and €12,000 car allowance
