    We are currently looking for Software Engineering Apprentices to join our dynamic team and be at the forefront of innovation, shaping the digital landscape with your exceptional skills and expertise.

    As a Software Engineering Apprentice, you'll dive headfirst into a world of possibilities, tackling complex problems and creating cutting-edge solutions that will revolutionise industries.

    A typical dayCollaborate with our team of experienced developers within a dynamic and supportive environment.
    Gain skills and knowledge within advanced programming, software languages and systems development.
    Get hands-on experience with essential concepts in development including design principles, testing methodologies, Agile practices, and continuous delivery.
    Test and maintain software and web systems.

    Have hands-on experience with core programming skills, general software design techniques (such as object-oriented programming and design methodologies), project management and business analysis tools plus formalised software development processes (such as Agile).Actively contribute to your team by sharing ideas, taking on responsibilities and making informed decisions on how to effectively achieve project objectives.

    Rotate between a number of Software Development Groups at Renishaw, to get a wider and more in-depth knowledge of real projects and products.

    You must haveGCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalentSkills NeededGood written and verbal communication skillsA genuine interest in Software Engineering (as a subject and as a career).ResilienceA passion for learning and development.

    Some practical evidence of programming, software engineering and/ or coding.
    Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
    Able to attend office premises up to 5 days per week.
