IT Project Manager - Software/API/Agile - Coventry/Flexible

55k - 60k plus excellent benefits including flexible working (8 days a month in the office near Coventry)

IT Project Manager required for a small business that is currently undergoing exciting transformation of it's systems, as it looks to migrate it's technology estate to Azure.

As part of the technology team, you will play a key part in managing a variety of IT & System Change Projects for the business - working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the projects. The role will be a mix of home-working and office visits, including 8 days on-site in the office per month near Coventry. Due to this being a brand new role for the organisation, it will start as a 12 month fixed term contract.

Previous experience working in a project management role, preferably with exposure to working with external stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers/vendors, would be highly desirable for this role.

Role overview:

• Ensure projects (IT & Change) meet the business requirements and IT projects deliver expected benefits.
• Work with internal stakeholders to scope the deliverables, whilst managing business expectations in the projects & proposals.
• Be proactive in ensuring that IT project costs are appropriate for the business and are covered in line with budget.
• Act as the main point of contact for the project, in terms of escalation and support to the business, throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor & report on project progress, provide regular updates with the business during the project lifecycle.

Salary

The salary/package for this position is flexible between £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits & flexible working on offer.
