    Full Time 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm


    Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity based in the Black Country is looking to recruit a Complex Needs worker within safe accommodation to bring about lasting change in how services work for individuals with multiple and complex needs.

    The service manages and provides 41 units of accommodation ranging from houses in multiple occupation, individual flats and houses as well as group schemes .

    Working with women and men who present with experiencing domestic abuse and whose needs are either not being met by existing services or not accessing existing services or not being accepted as referrals with the aim of providing a transition into mainstream services

    acknowledges risk to health, safety and welfare


    To work with identified complex needs clients who present with substance misuse, mental health, care and support needs to overcome barriers to services and engagement.


    To carry out a multiple needs assessment with each client, including risk assessment, management plan and to research a case history with each service user

    To support established/existing risk assessments framework in assessing and managing risk

    To provide a service that upholds best safeguarding practice in relation to children and adults at risk

    Be responsible for the delivery of one to one and group work targeted domestic abuse intervention sessions,

    To be embedded within the local delivery services comprised of Mental Health Service, Substance Misuse services, therapeutic services, IRIS, Adult social case services, Children social care services and Health services

    To develop a close network of communication, co-operation, joint work and skills exchange with other practitioners in the project team and wider community.


    To adopt agreed compliance monitoring which includes mapping a service user's journey and case management systems and keep appropriate casework and administrative records, case studies and reports

    To help evaluate and share learning and best practice across a wide range of media and contribute to local strategies and policies

    To work closely with members of the local delivery services and taking a lead on multiagency meetings where a service user's support needs are discussed

    This may at times dependent upon need include evening and weekend working.

    Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children, acknowledging safeguarding concerns and responding appropriately

    Experience of working with victims of domestic abuse in a professional capacity

    Experience of managing complex casework, including issues such as child abuse, mental health, substance abuse, working with trauma in adults and children and crisis intervention
