    We are hiring for Data Analyst at UK , it's going to be a hybrid role with 1 day Travel to Southampton in a week or less travels in a month.

    The Data Analyst is responsible for turning large and complex data sets into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. The role requires a combination of technical and communication skills to effectively analyze, interpret and visualize data to uncover insights and support business decision-making

    • Collect and analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decisions.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualization tools to provide stakeholders with easy-to-understand insights.
    • the management of Power BI assets, including reports, dashboards, workspaces, and the underlying datasets that are used in the reports and dashboard
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their use cases.
    • Develop and maintain predictive models to support forecasting and decision-making.
    • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support specific business initiatives and projects.
    • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the data analytics field and recommend improvements to Client data analysis processes.

    Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using both written and verbal communication.

    Essential

    • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
    • Experience with data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink.
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SAS.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the data analytics field.

    Ideal

    • At least 2 years of experience in a data analysis role.
    • Strong client facing / engagement experience
    • Experience of working in Shipping and Cargo handling, Oil and Gas and Specialty Trade Contract Handling is a preference

    Good to have

    Experience of working in Port or Logistics industry
