Contract Test Engineer – Python

£350- £450 per day

Outside IR35

6 months

Hybrid / Swindon

Our client, a much-admired advanced engineering business, is seeking a Python Contract Test Engineer for a 6-month contract to write test scripts for applications involving both software and hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Write Python-based scripts for test procedures of software and hardware applications.
• Support a team of test engineers in running automated system testing and acceptance testing.
• Devise acceptance test algorithms.
• Write scripts to generate test reports, including RAG test status.

Experience

• Experience in Python programming.
• Experience in any of the following industries desirable: Engineering, Med Tech, Advanced Engineer, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence
• Experience in developing test scripts for automated system testing.
• Experience integrating complex toolchains.
