Description

Successful applicants will be offered an additional 1 PA 'induction and leadership development time' for the first year to embed as a consultant at Airedale, in addition to the regular 1.5 PAs of SPA time.

Due to a combination of expansion and retirement, two posts have opened within our ACSA accredited department offering potential special interests in the following specialties:

  • Trauma and emergency surgery
  • Regional anaesthesia
  • Paediatrics
  • Perioperative medicine


These posts provide an opportunity to pursue a specialist interest in an award-winning hospital covering a large geographical area between the spectacular Yorkshire Dales and the cosmopolitan centres of Bradford and Leeds.

A breakdown of the draft job plan for the post is included in the information pack. A wide range of general experience in Anaesthetics and Obstetrics is essential.
