    OVERVIEW:

    To provide a full mail and distribution service to British Airways, including delivery of internal/external mail, incoming and outgoing couriers, paper deliveries and archiving requests.

    Delivering and collecting mail airside at Heathrow Airport. One week airside, one week non-airside rotating, multiple drops per day.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
    ~ Sort and deliver mail including Royal Mail Special and Recorded post as well as courier items to all the required locations within the campus

    ~ Collect and prepare all outgoing mail from required locations

    ~ Engage and build relationships with end users and client contacts

    ~ Act as a point of contact and advise end users on all aspects of mail and distribution services

    ~ Professional telephone and email correspondence

    ~ Ensure outstanding customer service to the client, customers and visitors to the Mailroom operation


    REQUIREMENTS:
    ~ Possession of a clean/Valid UK driving license

    ~ Able to drive manual transmission

    ~ Willingness to gain the required BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance

    ~ Can pass a medical check

    ~ Willingness to gain an Air side Permit (Online driving course/Company Paid)

    ~ Observe the dress code at all times – full uniform, clean and tidy hair, nails with conservative make-up and jewelry where appropriate. Due to Health and Safety issues, no facial piercings except for religious beliefs.
