    We are looking for highly organised and self-motivated candidates who have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and who enjoy a challenge You will manage a busy library, a team of volunteers and front line staff, as well as being a part of and lead on ad-hoc projects and continue to develop the exciting programme of initiatives.

    No 2 days are the same in our libraries and as a Senior Library and Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the library counter and the floor, managing and timetabling the team with the Library and Community manager, be responsible for health and safety and security of the library building, acting as the first point of contact for customers with their vast array of enquiries, being responsible for stock and financial reconciliation.

    Our libraries are bustling hubs of activity, whether it be sounds of songs in the air from our Baby Bounce sessions, to the delightful hum of children practising their reading at our Reading Buddies sessions.
