I am currently working with a
leading Newcastle Law firm who are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Family team in Newcastle.


This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised Secretary to join a friendly, well established and approachable team.


You will be required to:

  • To assist fee earners with the full range of admin tasks associated with family law matters, updating file records electronically (using CMS), creating electronic bundles and supporting the general administration within the team;
  • Assist fee earners to progress cases in a timely manner including completing Court documentation, liaising with Counsel's Clerks and Chambers, being a point of contact for clients and third parties;
  • Assist with typing and preparation of documents in the Family Team and being an active member of the firmwide support function.

You will need:

  • Experience in various elements of Family law.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work tasks effectively
  • The ability to work within a team with other fee earners
  • Good written skills and to communicate in a professional manner with clients, colleagues and other professionals
You MUST have legal experience as either a legal assistant or secretary to be considered for this vacancy.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
