Description

If successful, you will be responsible for organising and coordinating a team of Care Workers ensuring the safe and appropriate provision of client care and support to the highest possible standard and level.


Duties will include:


  • Compilation of rotas for care staff.
  • Ensuring that clients are assigned to care workers and doing so within our standards.
  • Knowledge of how Care Workers perform and the ability to pair them with clients in a manner that will allow them to work effectively to deliver quality service to them.
  • Managing customer visits and arranging reviews and quality checks
  • Working closely and communicating with other members of the team, professional bodies and family members to ensure the highest quality of care
  • Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new care packages
  • Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care packages
  • Monitoring quality through ECM records and weekly KPI reports
  • Maintaining continuity for the delivery of care to our customers
  • Responding efficiently to daytoday changes in the care and support packages
  • Covering visits when they are unable to be covered by the team in the field particularly at the beginning.
  • On Call duties shared with Deputy and Registered Manager (included in the salary)
Will have an excellent telephone manner with good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Will be customer focused with the ability to multi task, prioritise, organise and work well under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Will ideally have previous care sector experience including working in a fast paced, high volume call environment.
  • Will be able to deal with queries and enquiries quickly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure and be able to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively with other members of staff, ensuring that information is recorded for future reference and passed to the relevant person in a timely fashion.

Essential qualities:


  • Care Sector experience
  • Excellent IT. skills
  • Excellent communicator with good customer service skills
  • Good experience of managing a busy work load
  • Be able to work autonomously and be able to analyse a situation and take decisive action in a timely manner
  • Will be able to prioritise tasks and have very good organisational skills.
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure

Desirable:

You will need to have a full UK Drivers Licence as you will be required to support the care. *Please note that the salary is negotiable and depends on experience and qualifications*.

£23,197.77-£26,325.77 per year
