We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Co-Production and Engagement Officer to join us in our co-production journey on a fixed term basis for 23 months.

About the role


As the Co-Production and Engagement Officer, you will help to ensure people who draw on adult social care in Reading, their families and support systems are fully engaged in the design, delivery, and evaluation of Adult Social Care Services.

This role will also be pivotal in creating opportunities for people who draw on adult social care, to influence the provision of universal and community services.


You'll be part of a team that relies on each individual to play their part to the best of their ability.

As well as the colleagues that you work closely with every day, you'll also be part of Team Reading, playing your personal part in making Reading a successful and vibrant place.

About you


To help us on this journey, we are looking to recruit an individual who has a good understanding of Coproduction theory and approaches and can use their knowledge and skills to lead the development a Coproduction framework and toolkit.


The post holder will also be expected to produce project plans and reports to a high standard which are appropriate for a wide audience and to create and deliver engaging presentations.
