    This role will preferably be based at GSK House but can be based at other strategic locations on a case-by-case basis.

    In this role, you will manage the provision of support services to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) network for Packing and Serialisation equipment, and to manage the global team required to achieve this.

    You will be responsible for developing and directing a team of Global Platform Leads and service specialists for the ongoing support, compliance, maintenance, life cycle management and planning of a portfolio of engineering applications and ensuring the support strategy is in alignment with the overall Engineering and business direction.

    As a leader, you will ensure that the levels of Engineering support delivery are achieved, both for existing and new equipment in accordance with the agreed targets of increased OEE from the equipment, removal of the risks and management of equipment portfolio standardisation for GSC.

    Be accountable for ensuring that the GSK Standard Processes are applied and adhered to, including embedding and adopting standard ways of working in accordance with Quality, Risk and Compliance policies.

    Ensure on Site support is provided cross GSC to deliver value to the business by increased OEE, reduced the risks, and managed equipment portfolio.

    Establish, monitor, and reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) of all assets within their defined service function.
    Degree qualified in a relevant Science or Engineering related discipline (for example Control, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)

    Significant experience in complex manufacturing and supply environments (ideally pharmaceutical or other regulated industry), including automation tools and services.

    Leadership and managerial experience, including coaching, mentoring and personal/professional development.
    Significant experience influencing packaging efficiency, digitalisation, sustainability, GMP and safety.
    Higher level degree qualification or other formal certification in a relevant Science or Engineering related discipline (for example Control, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)
    Expert understanding of strategic business goals, processes and workflows, alongside dynamic monitoring tools
    Proven experience developing relevant manufacturing/packaging/serialisation strategies which deliver business benefits in an actionable and measurable way.
