    About the role:
    The Product & UX copywriter will work alongside product owners, designers, marketers, and developers. You'll lead copy development in our fitness product experiences and supporting content, creating a world-class app and web experience.

    From brand, through people, to product, our copywriting team will define our tone of voice, strategic messaging, and easy-to-consume app, delivering A-game copy that will make customers excited to be a part of our community

    You'll report into the Head of Marketing, and be a part of the marketing delivery team but will work cross-functionally with our product teams.

    Location: London, Chiswick (Hybrid; x2 days onsite)

    What we're looking for:

    • You can turn complex ideas into clear, concise and compelling copy.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Working closely with product, design, and research to develop a content strategy and recommendations for revamping existing products, new features, and content to support their launches.
    • Assessing the end-to-end product journey to come up with a strategy for multi-channel comms to influence product adoption
    • Thinking about core product concepts, including retention, multi-product adoption, and operational impact
    • Finding intuitive and elegant content solutions while building customer experiences that spark simplicity, deep understanding and delight within WithU users
    • Getting to know the WithU brand and working with design, product & marketing to keep refining and iterating on our voice and building out our style guide
    • Improving and maintaining content management and governance frameworks with customer experience at the heart of every decision
    • Work with other writers to refine standards and guidelines – this will involve peer review and collective critiquing of work, along with contributing to a growing toolkit of writing resources.
    • Using insights and customer testing data to iterate journeys and make them more engaging and effective
    • Advocating for customers, and working with stakeholders to balance their needs against commercial goals and regulatory responsibilities.
    • Managing your workload and diary, communicating with stakeholders to set priorities and deliver work on time

    What you'll need:


    • 5 years of experience in B2C growth or marketing in a fast-paced environment (preferably in a hyper-growth tech company)


    • Experience working closely with product, marketing, and design teams to develop creative and engaging content


    • Strong UX and product thinking, with the brand experience to build out effective communication.


    • A strong track record in product writing and understanding of channels like in-product, digital, PR, operational, and offline activations - your role could move beyond product based on team capacity, so a willingness to support your peers for the ultimate end customer experience.


    • Knowledge of markets and competitive landscape in the fitness industry or app industry


    • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills


    • To be a charismatic, people-person who can talk to anyone and work in an ever-changing startup environment


    • Strong understanding of branding, TOV, content strategy and experience working with other teams in an agile environment


    • Ability to pitch ideas and explain reasoning


    • Experience working directly with stakeholders from various teams, managing their feedback and resolving challenges


    • Experience editing the work of other writers
