    Hydraulic Shop TechnicianSouthend, Essex£


    DOEJOB PURPOSE:
    The Hydraulic Shop Technician is responsible for testing, repairing, and overhauling various hydraulic aviation components in the Hydraulic Workshop, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • Perform testing, repair, and overhaul of various hydraulic aviation components following original manufacturer manuals and instructions.
    • Maintain and uphold quality standards and procedures.
    • Establish and sustain a legally compliant and safe working environment.
    • Prepare workshop reports and material reviews to support customer estimate creation by the purchasing and commercial departments.
    • Assist in bringing in new capabilities and researching improved ways to reduce costs and turnaround time.
    • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety requirements are met.
    • Understand and meet customer needs consistently.
    • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Company.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Understanding of the requirements for delivering maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components in accordance with EASA Pt 145 regulatory requirements.
    • Background in a hydraulic aviation environment essential, with previous experience in a similar role preferred.
    • Experience with both Skydrol and hydraulic oil rigs.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and business systems and procedures.
    • Ability to interpret manuals and accurately record inspection findings.
    • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Collaborative team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Safetyconscious with a high level of attention to detail
