Our collaboration with a reputable organisation in the Technology and Software Solutions (TSS) industry is seeking a Broadband Support Officer with a strong technical Support background and is looking to develop a career ideally in an educational establishment.


The Role


As the Broadband Support Officer, you will report into the Network Manager with an aim to help schools and other educational institutions develop, and provide technical IT support.

The Broadband Support Officer's primary duties include supporting learningplatforms, network administration, and curriculum ICT networks (server and desktops).


Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Delivering technical guidance and support to all schools
  • Developing and maintaining the network infrastructure and ICT systems in schools
  • Working with network components like DNS/DHCP

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of networking and cloud services like Office 365 and G Suite
  • Knowledge of web filtering technologies like Netsweeper and Surfprotect, as well as wireless installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Good communication skill written and verbal
