    Position Overview

    The Senior Sourcing Specialist will play a key role within the Sourcing and Procurement (S&P) Marketing Category team, responsible for managing and delivering strategic value in the EMEA region. The expert chosen for this role will have a direct impact on the company's third-party expenditures, effective management of demands and services, and the formulation of long-term strategic plans.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee third-party expenditures within the designated category, as per company requirements
    • Develop and implement long-term category strategy, analyses, and strategic category plans for EMEA
    • Lead sourcing strategies, conduct external market research, and ensure compliance with sourcing policies
    • Manage regional multifunctional projects and direct large supplier negotiations
    • Ability to analyse and model complex data to develop sourcing opportunities
    Requirements
    • Proven background in a comparable role within blue-chip companies
    • Experience with regional or global responsibilities in large multinational corporations
    • Expertise in developing and implementing sourcing strategies and plans
    • Strong knowledge of procurement practices, systems, and sourcing/supply chain trends
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suite, especially Excel
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or supply chain is preferable
    • Good understanding of finance and legal aspects related to procurement contracts
    • Ideal candidates would have completed, or be studying for, CIPS or equivalent certification
