    Managing our tax compliance is a key aspect of the strong and careful stewardship needed.

    Our small tax team is steward for the Trust's tax policy, covering all aspects of the tax base from VAT to Corporation Tax, Gift Aid to Business Rates, the numbers are large and the opportunities are huge to make a significant difference to our charitable cause and to work on exciting and impactful projects making a lasting difference to the nation's heritage.

    Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindonand there will be an expectation for you to attend the office.

    You'll work with the Trust's Head of Tax and Tax Assistant in a hands-on way to apply tax policy, develop it as legislation changes and work with the business to ensure that tax compliance is strong and applied in a way that is efficient.

    You'll act as an internal expert on taxation matters across a wide array of exciting projects, embedding tax considerations in business cases, system and process changes.

    A qualification or are a semi-qualified CIOT member or relevant qualifications earned through accounting routes.


    • A thorough understanding of financial processes in ERP financial software and design and monitoring of charts of accounts for tax compliance.
