An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operator to join Johnston Oils based in Bathgate. This is an opportunity to help our customers on a day to day basis. Initially a temporary position that may become permanent for the right person.

Johnston Oils is an independent family business delivering Kerosene, Gas Oil and Diesel to our customer across the UK with a strong focus on Customer Service.

Your role will be to work as part of a team and when necessary independently, report to and take instruction from the Operations Director.

You will prepare barrels and IBC's for delivery to our customers.

Working with our customer's onsite, you will ensure they receive the products they are looking for and records are maintained in relation to their requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the yard and dealing with any requirements within the site to maintain its health and safety requirements.

When we are busy you will support in the office speaking to our customers and ensuring we take their orders and processes them accurately.

Follow the training you have received when using any work equipment we has given you.

Ideally you will have a telehandler and fork lift truck certificate.

This would suit a veteran or someone who is semi-retired.
