Community Ambulance Service going through an exciting period of growth We are recruiting for dynamic, motivated, and energised HR Advisor to join our growing HR team.

Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will be responsible for supporting our site teams with all things HR - a fabulous opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to take on a new challenge


This role is a Monday - Friday role, 42.5 hours per week - core hours are between 10am - 4pm however there would be a requirement to work flexibility on occasion.
This is a hybrid-working role, so three days of your week will be out of your base site in Milton Keynes (MK3 6DP), the rest can be from home. There would be occasions where you will need to travel to support our other sites within the business.

What will I be doing?


Although a generalist role, there is a focus on employee relations for operations staff, absence and performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes.

Therefore, as part of your role, you will be providing pragmatic and legally-complaint HR advice & guidance to our line manager, coaching and supporting them to resolve ER issues within their teams in a manner that preserves the manager/employee relationship and builds competency and performance in line with our values.

Working closely with line managers, this position plays a key role within their site-based logistics operations.

No two days are the same, so someone who is resilient and can hit the ground running would be ideal.


The HR Team are an integral part of the business, so we are looking for someone with previous HR experience, strong employee relations knowledge, experience of handling performance/absence management and disciplinary issues, the ability to manage a varied and busy workload, and excellent influencing skills - ideally having supported a blue collar/operational workforce.


What experience will I need?

  • Demonstrable experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
  • Ideally you will be CIPD level 5 or working towards this
  • Superb communication skills, including effective facilitation, listening and writing
  • Ability to express thoughts in a clear and concise manner

£36,000.00 per year
