    Lead Automation Test Engineer (Technical)PermanentLondon with Hybrid workingTen10 is one of the leading independent Quality Engineering, Software Testing, RPA and DevOps consultancies in the UK.

    Due to continued growth, we are currently looking foranLead Automation Test Engineerto join our London based delivery team.


    Role Responsibilties:
    Run an Automation discovery and proof of concept for End To End testing via desktop client User Interface.

    Review the existing framework and scripts (prepared by Microsoft) and work with the client to determine automation objectives and framework / tooling required as the desktop client transitions to be a web based client.

    The current expected use of tool is Playwright.


    Second stage of programme:
    Roll out and operationalise an automation factory initially focusing on Automation of approx 500 User Acceptance Testing regression scripts, for the business

    Key Skills and Experience:
    Previous Consultancy experienceMinimum of 5 years experience working in a highly technical Agile environmentAble to lead and provide peer review/direction to junior team membersSolid background in technical software developmentStrong coding skills in Java or other coding languageSolid experience in integration testingProficient in test planning and reportingDemonstrable experience of developing automated test frameworks for RESTful APIs and associated tooling (e.g. RestAssured, JsonPath, Jackson etc)Confident working with CI/CD pipelines and associated tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Git)Experienced in developing automated test frameworks for Front End web applications and associated tooling (e.g. Cucumber, Webdriver)Confident using industry standard Java tooling such as Maven and SpringExperienced automating database access from Java (e.g. using Hibernate, JPA etc)Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git/GitLab, Jira, ConfluenceConfident testing in a microservices environment and using mocking libraries such as WireMockWorking knowledge of non functional testingBe eligible or hold valid SC clearanceWorking at Ten1025 days annual leave (1 extra day every year for the first 3 years) + holiday buying schemePension - contributory matched by employer up to 5%Health plan covering medical, dental, optical and alternative therapy treatmentsSubsidised gym membershipsBike to work schemeSeason ticket loanExcellent training and development opportunities that are tailored to youTeam socials and activities, sporting events, annual kick-off and Christmas partiesFlexible / hybrid working modelADZN1_UKTJ
