Interim Group Financial Controller

Circa £900/1000 per day Inside IR35

Hybrid in either West Midlands or London

I am looking for an Interim Group Financial Controller to join an international business of circa £500MN turnover. In this role, you will be responsible for the consolidation of over a hundred international legal entities and all group financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidation of a large, diverse portfolio of international legal entities.
• Responsible for group financial reporting.
• Lead the provision of group management information.
• Partner with the CFO and leadership team delivering communication on group KPI's.
• Leadership and management of a small financial team.
• Understanding and application of complex acquisition accounting principles.
• Proficiency in managing currency exchange and related financial processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly beneficial due to ongoing upgrades.
• Overseeing financial reporting processes and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Management of the defined benefit pension scheme.
  Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a complex international environment.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition accounting and currency exchange management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
