Our client is global leading plastics manufacturer based in Oldham is looking to add an experienced Toolmaker to their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Injection moulding.

The Job

·Prepare and execute maintenance and servicing on all Plastic Moulding Tools

·Machining to a high standard on a range of toolroom machines

·Responsible for the manufacture of full mould tooling

·The assembly and fitting of tooling elements.

·Modifications and refurbishment of existing mould tooling

·Servicing and repairs of mould tooling

·Manufacture of jigs & fixtures to support the mould shop.

·Inspection of own work to a high standard

·Accountable for quality of work produced.

The person:

·For this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a toolmaker or similar.

·Ideally worked within an Injection or Blow moulding production environment.

·Must be apprentice trained

The hours of work are 7.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday
