    As a CNC Machinist, your primary responsibility is the setup, operation, and maintenance of our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines.

    You'll ensure the production of quality parts and tools according to engineering drawings and client standards.

    Set up and operate CNC Machining/Turning centers and Cutting Tools to meet customer requirements.
    Support production engineers and machinists by setting up new tools and establishing datum reference points.
    Address tool breakages and interpret kinematics during production runs.
    Safely load and unload raw materials into CNC machines.
    Regularly inspect machines for mechanical and safety issues.
    Support packaging of machined components for dispatch.
    Adhere to quality standards and customer specifications using gauges and manual measuring instruments.
    Troubleshoot production problems to ensure adherence to quality standards.
    Education / Qualifications / Training:
    Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
    In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, preferably for metal component production.
    Understanding of CNC machining strategies, particularly milling/turning, including speed, tool paths, and other factors.
    Solid understanding of machining parameters and ability to diagnose and rectify production issues.
    Experience in setting up and operating CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools.
