Hampton's Resourcing are proud to be working exclusively with a Specialist Children's Residential service provider to help them source a Registered Manager to oversee the running of a brand new, 3 bedded EBD home in Kettering, Northampton. Thisis an exciting role for an experienced Registered Manager or a Deputy Manger looking to progress in within the field._
We are currently looking for an experienced Children's Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager looking to progrees, to assist in the setting up of the Children's Home whilst preparing for Ofsted registration.
The Registered Manager will lead a skilledteam to new successes whilst providing the very best of care to Children and young Adults.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance
- Following robust and high quality reporting and recording procedures
- Ensure that children and have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs and wellbeing
- Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans
- Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development
- Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively
- Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners
Experience and qualifications:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 3 year's experience working as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted regulated home
- Full UK driving Licence (desirable)
