This full-time position will commence in May, and we are seeking a passionate German educator who can provide exceptional leadership and guidance to the German department.

As the Head of German, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction and vision of the department, creating an innovative and engaging German curriculum that fosters students' language acquisition and cultural understanding.

In collaboration with a team of experienced and passionate German teachers, you will develop and deliver high-quality lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles.

You will also have the opportunity to organize and oversee extracurricular activities that enhance students' exposure to the German language and culture.

Provide strong and visionary leadership to the German department
Oversee and ensure the high quality of teaching and learning in German
Mentor and support German teachers, fostering their professional growth
Create an innovative and engaging German curriculum
Organize and supervise extracurricular activities related to German language and culture
Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects and initiatives
Stay updated with the latest developments in German education and implement best practices
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialization in German or a related field
Postgraduate degree in German or Education (desirable)
Significant experience teaching German, preferably in a secondary school setting
Passionate about promoting German language acquisition and cultural understanding
