    Head of Data Architecture – Financial Services

    La Fosse have partnered exclusively with one of the largest financial services firms in the UK to recruit a Head of Data Architecture.

    Reporting to the CDO, this is a pivotal leadership role in a FTSE 100 business, leading teams to define and influence the future of data architecture and technology, as the business embarks on its cloud-first journey.

    The company's cloud data platform and data management capabilities are maturing, and this person will continue to drive this forward.

    This will require someone with a track record in providing technical leadership in a large, federated business, but who can also translate data architecture into meaningful and actionable plans.

    You'll lead and manage the data and analytics strategy and architecture, ensuring the vision, strategy and roadmaps required to deliver propositions for customers.

    Define target state architecture, making sure that the architecture is informed by the overall organisational strategy.

    Define, create and maintain architecture models, roadmaps, standards, using architecture strategies to ensure alignment to adjacent and higher level models.

    Drive towards continuous optimisation and simplification of the architecture, making sure that capabilities are shared and re-used.

    Own the operating model for the architecture discipline in the business, setting standards for excellence both in the creation of the architecture and in building on the capabilities.


    An ability to manage and collaborate with senior stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
    Experience in delivering change in large, complex businesses (ideally financial services firms or heavily regulated businesses)

    This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days per week in the London HQ.
