Accounts Assistant required for a well-established business in Harlow with the possibility for flexible working hours.

Working in a small team, this is an all-round accounts role including:

  • Sales ledger / credit control including posting customer receipts, allocating payments, chasing outstanding invoices, queries, new customer accounts and managing credit limits.
  • Purchase ledger including posting supplier invoices, authorising for payment, making supplier payments, reconciling statements, invoice queries and more.
  • Employee expenses including reviewing expenses, ensuring expenses are properly authorised, making payments, and handling queries concerning expenses.
  • Supporting FD with reviewing existing processes and implementing/changing them according to needs.


The role is 100% office-based (Monday - Friday), however there is the possibility for some flexibility with regarding to working hours for anybody who may be restricted (30 hours minimum).

Salary - Up to £30,000 depending on experience.
