Key Duties & Responsibilities.Systems development on a mature, modern codebase written in C++Test, evaluate and recommend technologies to improve overall solutionsConstantly improving the development life cycle and code qualityCommunicate and collaborate with the research and trading teams to design and deliver innovative, high-quality solutionsProvide day-to-day support for the applicationsRequirements, Skills & ExperienceMust have 4+ years of relevant industry experience with modern C++Must have 2+ year experience with SQL, or a comparable relational databaseSolid understanding of TCP/UDP standards and network protocolsExperience with writing low latency single and concurrent threaded applicationsUnderstanding of the C++ development life cycle and tooling on RHEL LinuxExposure to the FIX protocolExposure to test-driven developmentWorking practices are relaxed, as is the office environment.
