SystemsAccountants are acting on behalf of our client who are looking for an experienced SAP ByDesign Contractor to assist with various projects related to improving the efficiency of their SAP Business ByDesign ERP set up.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough analysis and requirement gathering of the current SAP ByD set-up, identifying discrepancies in the alignment of technical aspects with business requirements.
• Rectify issues related to the improper setup, manual processes, and lack of integration.
• Collaborate with key finance stakeholders to understand business processes.
• Propose and implement changes to align SAP ByD with the business needs.
• Champion the needs and priorities of the business in meetings and discussions with the Partner
• Set up revenue recognition processes in SAP ByDesign according to IFRS 15
• Liaise between the Finance team at the business and the technical consultants, ensuring effective communication.
• Oversee the more day-to-day administration tasks on the SAP ByD system where necessary, providing support for routine operations and troubleshooting.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Work with SAP Business ByDesign improving financial controls and processes.
• Assist the finance team in the creation of accurate financial statements, forecasts, and budgets

Key Criteria for this Role

• In-depth SAP ByDesign knowledge with the technical back-end systems understanding to help brain out the process.
• At least 3+ years of SAP ByDesign experience
• Accountancy qualification and strong finance background
• Experience setting up revenue recognition in SAP ByDesign
• Familiarity with IFRS 15
• Experience improving consolidation in SAP ByD
• Experience improving processes related to Procure to Pay (P2P / PTP)
• A Ltd company set up and experience working as an independent contractor
