Temporary to permanent Housekeeper/cook/waiter required at Edgar Townhouse Bath.
5 days a week
Hours from 7.30am to 2pm
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday.
32.5hours
Pay dependent on experience.
This is a multi-rolled job vacancy.
Immediate start available.
Starting at 8am helping with serving breakfast (7.30am if cooking) and then moving on to housekeeping when guests depart.

A dedicated and enthusiastic person is required to assist with cooking, waiting, cleaning guests' bedrooms and all areas together with general housekeeping duties.


Breakfast Chef Role:
Prepare, cook and present breakfast in accordance with brand standards
Taking PRIDE in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Being a valuable part of the wider team to ensure the best guest experience

Working in a busy kitchen and will be required to make-up and cook to order from our relatively straight forward menu.

Items include; cooked breakfast. Maintaining food hygiene records and safety.
Waiting/Serving
Taking food order from guest in a friendly polite and correct manner. Delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to the table. Clearing crockery from the tables.

Maintains hotel rooms by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing; providing linen services which will be decide by the head housekeeper and manager.

Complying with food hygiene regulations and cleaning procedures.
Housekeeping
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper a housekeeper will maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the Edgar townhouse


Your responsibilities would include:

  • Cleaning the guest bedrooms and bathroom facilities.
  • Responsible for cleaning a set number of rooms to a high standard
  • Reporting any damaged items to reception/manager
  • Attending to guest's requests and maintaining security

Duties:


  • Maintains cleaning schedule priorities by following room assignment list; servicing rooms requesting early cleaning first.
  • Announces presence by knocking on room doors; returning at a later time to occupied rooms.
  • Makes bed by removing and replacing sheets and pillow cases, checking blankets and bedspreads for soiling; replacing soiled items.
  • Removes miscellaneous debris by removing refuse, newspapers, room service trays, and minibar selections.
  • Refreshes bath area by cleaning tub, toilet, and sinks; removing used towels and bathmats; replacing bath linens.
  • Replenishes room supplies by restocking toiletries and stationery supplies.
  • Cleans floors by washing and vacuuming floors.
  • Maintains furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces.
  • Conserves energy by closing shades and draperies; turning down air conditioning and heat of unoccupied rooms.
  • Maintains room availability by notifying supervisor of room readiness.
  • Keeps supplies ready by restocking housekeeping cart at end of shift.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and clean work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations.
  • Enhances housekeeping and hotel reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
