The School of Humanities is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and proactive individual to join the Executive Support Team where you will provide professional administrative support to the academic staff and leadership team in the School during a busy time of change as a merger is effected with other Schools in the University.

The executive support team roles in Humanities are interesting, busy and varied.

The person appointed will support the Head of School, Heads of Department, School Director of Teaching and Learning, School Admissions Tutor, and Research Division leads as required.

You will be involved with a range of school activities, including providing support for specific strategic projects.


The Executive Support Team ensures the smooth running of the School and Departments on a day-to-day basis and provides a link between members of the School, the wider University community, and other professional and administrative support services.


You will have:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to ensure effective liaison and communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to provide a high standard of customer service
  • Excellent IT skills with a range of IT packages and systems (incl. Microsoft Office)
This role will be based on-site on our Whiteknights Campus.
