    Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with an established North London based property and infrastructure business who are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager.

    You will be responsible for providing timely financial analysis and strategic thinking to aid the CEO, CFO and other members of the Executive Board. The role will be analysing market trends and identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, or growth. Development, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of strategic initiatives. You will be supporting and help co-ordinate M&A activity in the group. Responsibilities include:

    • Ownership of the financial models of historic and future growth of the business, updating as required.
    • Understand Working Capital and cash requirements of respective business and modelling them correctly.
    • Producing (DCF) valuations of businesses as required, including as part of year end reporting for impairment reviews.
    • Interpreting complex data to identify opportunities to maximise the value of the businesses.
    • Manage Data Rooms processes ensuring information is kept confidential and secure.
    • Producing Business case and rationale for Directors to present to the Board.
    • Building and owning project plans for any M&A or restructuring undertaken

    The ideal candidate will hold a financial qualification (CIMA, ACA or CFA, or an MBA combined with clear prior experience in finance), be proficient in quantitative and data analytics, with superior written and verbal communication skills. Experience in real estate or infrastructure is highly desirable and corporate accounting, M&A and valuation skills are an advantage.
