At our new, purpose-built manufacturing facility near Hailsham, East Sussex we have entered an exciting new phase in our development as we embark on an ambitious expansion programme.

We are now recruiting for a Trainee Quality Inspector who, once trained, will measure and visually inspect components and assemblies to drawing using a variety of metrology equipment including the use of Far Arm (CMM) equipment.

In addition to this as our Trainee Quality Inspector you will be responsible for:
Testing and validating components and assemblies using a variety of test equipment.
Updating KPI s and metrics to drive quality improvement.
Qualification to BTech / HNC / HND level in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.

At least 3 years experience working in a machine shop or similar manufacturing environment and possess a good understanding of Quality and Process management tools and methodology.

Experience of using CMM or Faro Arm devices and proficient with a range of metrology equipment typically used in machine shop environments.

Knowledge or experience of welding and fabrication processes would be beneficial
Qualified to BTech/HNC/HND level in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.
