Hyde is looking to recruit a Head of Financial Planning Analysis.

As the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Financial Planning and Analysis function of Hyde's finance division.

Responsibilities

Lead on strategic financial planning and analysis monitoring, reviewing and advising on the financial plan and financial implications of strategic decisions, and ensuring that the organisation maintains strong financial viability in the immediate and long term, makes the most efficient and effective use of available resources, maximises value for money and makes informed strategic decisions
Ensure that the FP&A team work closely with colleagues across Hyde including Operations, Investment Development & Partnerships, Finance and Treasury providing support and challenge to reach joined up consensus views and providing insight to help inform strategic and operational decisions
Responsible for developing and maintaining the organisations long term financial plan, ensuring that it reflects an up to date and accurate forecast of Hyde's future financial position, and develop the organisations ongoing strategic financial analysis capability
Develop, own and maintain the organisation's longterm financial model, ensuring it accurately reflects the latest structure and operations of the business, and delivers the analytical capabilities that a fastmoving business requires
Ensure that the financial plan is updated on a regular basis, incorporating new forecast and budget information, economic insights and forecasts, linking to corporate strategy, and ensuring it is up to date and accurate
Lead on the analysis and ongoing monitoring and assessment of the financial performance of metrics in the financial plan, including; EBITDA, ROCE, gearing, operating margin, sales margin, operating costs and income per unit, voids and arrears.
Lead on the ad hoc analysis and ongoing monitoring of the longterm financial performance of key areas of the business, including; development, sales and disposals, JVs, major / planned works and maintenance, management costs and overheads, and rental income

Key Skills and Experience

Strong leadership and management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret and question data
Strong knowledge and understanding of a Financial Planning and Analysis function
