    The Position

    The role is a combination of a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and Trial Manager where you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself and demonstrate independence, innovation, and initiative.

    As a Clinical Research Associate - Trial Manager you will manage clinical trials and clinical trial sites in the UK.

    Depending on your areas of interest, there are opportunities to take on full responsibility as the TM for smaller trials.

    There is also the possibility of working on larger outcome trials with a split of responsibilities between site monitoring and defined trial management tasks.

    The suitable candidate will have a breadth of CRA experience and be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management as well as the ability to adapt to changing project needs.

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate has substantial experience and success of proactively and independently monitoring all phases of clinical trials in accordance with ICH GCP methodology as well as experience monitoring all stages of a commercial clinical trial including start-up, recruitment, maintenance and close-out and has gained experience in some aspects of trial management activities. Moreover:

    • You hold a Life Science degree or equivalent
    • You have project and resource management skills
    • You have got an understanding of clinical trial regulations in the UK and excellent knowledge of clinical trial methodology
    • You have up-to date-knowledge of the clinical trials environment - ICH GCP, regulatory issues, SOPs
    • You have attended the GCP training, and you are certified
    • You have the knowledge of the drug development process
    • Computer literacy and IT skills including tools such as CTMS, EDC & Veeva Vault are needed

    The UK CDC is a team of 75+ highly skilled and ambitious colleagues responsible for the planning and execution of clinical trial activities in accordance with the Product Development Plans of Novo Nordisk.
