Salary:

- £10.82ph plus Veolia benefits


Hours - Rotating shifts across 7 days per week including bank holidays

Two regular weekdays off per week

(March - 8.45am-5.15pm, April - September 8.45am-6.15pm, October - February 8.45am-4.15pm)

What will you be doing?

  • Supervise recycling operatives on site
  • Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors on the site at all times.
  • To assist members of the public on site with waste and recycling disposal
  • Prevent trade waste being deposited at the site
  • Responsible for the reuse shop, DIY sales, cross border charging, compost sales and non household waste charging scheme and all associated card handling and daily reconciliation forms and processes.
  • Provide training to recycling operatives

What are we looking for?

  • Previous Team Leader experience within a similar operational environment
  • Manual handling experience
  • COTC holder is desirable but training will be provided
This role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
