Full time or part time (flexible): We are seeking a highly qualified, enthusiastic and driven Assistant Director of Music and Head of Academic Music to join our friendly, professional and high-achieving Music department.

The Assistant Director of Music and Head of Academic Music is an important role and vital to the development of music at the RGS, both in the classroom and in the co-curricular programme.

Promote music throughout the School and encourage enjoyment through wide participation.

Work with the Director of Music to create an appropriate and engaging programme of academic activities, concert trips and tours as appropriate.

Lead on all matters relating to academic music in department meetings.
