The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting positive behavior and creating a safe and inclusive atmosphere within the school community

Your responsibilities will include:

Mentoring and providing guidance to students who require additional support in managing their behavior and emotions.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop individualized behavior plans for students.
Implementing strategies and interventions to address challenging behavior, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Providing group and oneonone mentoring sessions, helping students develop social skills and improve their overall wellbeing.
Tracking and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to teachers and relevant stakeholders.
Collaborating with the school's pastoral team to implement wholeschool behavior initiatives and policies.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge and understanding of behavior management strategies and interventions.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall school community.
