- Investigating and assisting in both non-contentious and contentious claims within a varied workload, including providing advice, case preparation, and representing members in defence of clinical negligence cases at all stages.
- Handling a diverse range of medical-related cases.
- Working within a highly motivated, professional, and team-focused environment.
- Supporting the team on clinical negligence cases by attending meetings with members, arranging and attending conferences, and liaising with third-party solicitors, insurers, counsel, and medical experts.
- Managing day-to-day operations of claims throughout all stages of litigation.
- Drafting Court Documents and filing them appropriately.
- Cultivating relationships with members, offering support throughout clinical negligence cases.
- Drafting various documents and correspondence, including witness statements, letters of instruction to counsel, and communications to medical experts.
- Coordinating document retrieval, such as medical records and reports.
- Conducting legal research to facilitate the team in providing concise and practical advice.
