Pay rate: £75 - £95 per day (PAYE)


Ortus Recruitment are recruiting a resilient and proactive
Learning Support Assistant to support in Early Years.

You will need to provide a safe, encouraging, and stimulating environment for children to explore, learn, and grow.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of our educational programs, providing support to teachers, and helping to create a positive learning atmosphere.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Ability to take initiative, be proactive and enthusiastic
  • Build up positive rapports with pupils and staff
  • Work alongside class teachers to manage classroom behaviour, keep classrooms organised and liaise with parents/carers
  • Support on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils
  • Lead numeracy, phonics and literacy interventions in small groups to raise low attainment levels
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent rates of pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)
  • EYFS: 1 year (preferred)
