    Trainee Project Manager (Hybrid Position) - Aberdeen

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Project Manager to join Axess North Sea in Aberdeen.

    The role is 37.5 hours a week, 8am-4pm, Tuesday-Thursday at our Aberdeen Office, with Monday and Friday being available in a hybrid capacity. (Full-time within the office is also available).

    Job Description:-

    Reporting to the Senior Project Manager Axess North Sea Ltd are looking to recruit a Trainee Project Manager for our Aberdeen-based office, within the Projects Team.

    This is a great opportunity to acquire, develop new skills and experience and to build a good foundation within project management in a successful growing company which has a history of over 25 years in business.

    The successful candidate will report to the Senior Project Manager. The role involves assisting Project Managers initially, and eventually undertaking the management of projects from start to end, dealing with clients, suppliers, staff and ensuring the timely delivery of deliverables to the client.

    Responsibilities:-

    On successful completion of training and probationary period, some of the full project management responsibilities include:

    Responsible for their own projects and identify all scope requirements and key stages of delivery.

    Implement client requirements for projects and be accountable for delivery to meet scope specifications with quality and safety at the forefront.

    Decision-making on relevant project time-scales, cost and resources required in order to undertake projects, whilst executing within budget.

    Management and accountability of Profit and Loss (P&L) of the projects that you are responsible for.

    Report regularly on the progress of the project to the management and client.

    Participate in daily PM Meetings, audits where required.

    Qualifications & Skills:-

    · Higher Education within a relevant discipline is desirable.

    · Previous experience within the Oil & Gas (or renewable energy) is not essential but advantageous.

    · The personal skills required in order to undertake the role include a meticulous attitude in all aspects of planning and checking and validation processes, possess a logical and systematic approach to getting job-related tasks completed to a high standard and be able to problem solve independently and quickly as and when requirements change.

    • Competent in Microsoft Office package; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • A team player who can recognise when things need to be done, by using initiative and a willingness to help out others when necessary.
    • Full valid UK Drivers Licence is desirable
