    About the job

    This is a newly created role with the opportunity to make a real difference. You will lead the regional company's sustainability reporting and disclosure, ensuring compliance with key reporting frameworks and, using key data and insights to support our ambitious Growing for Good sustainability plan.

    This role is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our team of committed sustainability experts to demonstrate tangible progress against our sustainability commitments. We've recently made significant investment in a new, exciting sustainability technology platform to improve the company's capability in this space, and this will accelerate your ability to deliver.

    You will work in close collaboration with the regional sustainability director head of governance to create the roadmap and process flow for reporting. You will act as the key point of contact with the company's ESG reporting vendor, working with them to optimise performance and deliver against goals. At Suntory we are obsessed by continuous improvement, we expect you to benchmark best reporting practices to raise the bar and optimize internal data collection processes and robustness. You will be responsible for developing and producing the monthly sustainability scorecard report and supporting teams to develop bespoke reports and dashboards for internal and external use. You will fly the flag and deliver capacity building training for relevant internal stakeholders across functions to build their ESG reporting skills. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure any sustainability information published externally is represented accurately (website, sustainability report).

    What do you bring to the table


    • Experience and knowledge of European corporate sustainability reporting and disclosure, with clear demonstration of hands on capability.

    • Understanding of climate related guidance and/or corporate risk reporting, as well as knowledge of climate related disclosure standards

    • Working knowledge of climate change policy and regulations across industries including consumer goods

    • Experience of internal or external audit procedures and working with internal controls.

    • Ability to handle and analyse information and data from multiple sources, possessing the ability to question accuracy and look for solutions to address discrepancies.

    • Excellent at proactively building networks and relationships across borders
