JOB DESCRIPTION - Asset Executive
An interesting and challenging role working in a fast-paced environment within the vibrant Procurement team.

You will have the opportunity to communicate across all levels of the business, developing internal relationships whilst assisting to drive the business forward and develop your own career by building on your skills and knowledge.


Function:

The Asset Team are responsible for the management and control of the client inventory.

The role will be to review and monitor customer demand to ensure optimum inventory levels are achieved to support the client business objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyse inventory addition requests for stock and specific customer requirements.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to support the client business.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure stock is maximised to full potential.
  • Assist with review and management of aircraft teardowns & large package purchases.
  • Adhere to the client processes and procedures.
  • Review, maintain and provide reports as required.
  • Assist with department training of new staff.
  • Manage Asset department inbox.
  • Assist the Asset Lead and undertake other duties as required.
  • Assist Management and undertake projects as requested.
  • Occasional travel to external sites.

Requirements:


  • Preferably at least 1 years experience gained in an inventory management environment.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management processes.
  • Good understanding of aircraft components beneficial.
  • Understand IPC's, alternative part numbers and aircraft effectivity beneficial.
  • Awareness of component condition, certification, and airworthiness regulations beneficial.
  • High level of IT skills with comprehensive knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience of Quantum beneficial.
  • Numerate and accurate with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads.
  • Selfmotivated, flexible and adaptable to work in a busy environment.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Experience of report creation and database recording.
  • Experience of data analysis.

£24,499.00-£37,053.00 per year
