A FTSE 250 services business is recruiting a Financial Accounting Manager to work as part of a central finance function to manage a high performing team responsible for the month end close.

The key deliverables of the Financial Accounting Manager are:


  • Management of the month end and year end financial close
  • Supporting the annual audit process liaising with external auditors
  • Ensuring compliance with financial governance and controls
  • Team management including coaching, objective setting and development plans
  • Working across the central finance function to drive the standardisation and sharing of best practice for processes and controls
The key requirements for the Financial Accounting Manager are:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Previous team management experience
  • A demonstrable track record of process and controls improvement
