Prosperity Fund Coordinator

Location - Chatham, Kent

Salary - Depends on experience

Have you got experience of scoping, delivering, and managing external funding projects and programmes?

Do you possess knowledge with understanding of Town Centres, placemaking and regeneration schemes?

We have a unique opportunity in Chatham for a Prosperity Fund Coordinator to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working part-time, three days per week.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor associated programmes, projects, and budgets
  • Effective communication, PR and progress reporting with excellent report writing/briefings and presentations
  • Positive relationship management and brokerage with key partnerships such as Town Centre Forums, adopting a codesign approach to project development/delivery and acting as a key ambassador for the programme.
  • Effective working with colleagues to ensure synergy and coordination with other programmes and funding streams supporting the town centres
  • Support the work of the wider Economic Development and Town Centres Team and the overall Team Manager as required
  • Manage and monitor the Town Centres Programme within the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for Medway including associated budgets and monitor progress, ensuring key performance indicators are met
  • Develop and deliver (or identify/enable other organisations to) implement a range of other town centre projects and feasibility studies designed to stimulate town centre regeneration by utilising the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience and successful track record of scoping, delivering and managing regeneration funding projects/programmes
  • Knowledge of and understanding of:
  • regeneration
- town centres/place-making
- external funding/programmes
- effective partnership and stakeholder working

  • Proven experience in leading, managing and developing projects and partners to successfully achieve outcomes
  • Demonstration of political awareness and effective relationship management to enable successful delivery
  • Programme and project management skills with ability to deliver key regeneration programmes and projects
  • Successful track record of managing and monitoring programmes and projects and associated budgets
  • Demonstrable ability to use analytical skills to interpret complex information and situations
